Join me for a gentle walk around the village of Painswick on behalf of the Stroud Textile Trust. Meeting at The Painswick Centre at 11am, we will take a long-ish walk around the village stopping to take in important reminders of the abundance of the wool trade in this village and region as a whole. We will take a stroll down Vicarage Street to see a spinning demonstration before heading on to Lovedays Mill, up Tibbiwell and back up to the church to hear the bells ringing. There is much to see, learn and enjoy in pretty Painswick.
