Join me for History of Art lectures - either online or at a Cotswolds venue. I lecture at The Painswick Centre, Pegasus Art, The Wilson and at art societies. If you’d like me to give a talk to your group, please get in touch.

“Sarah gave an excellent talk at the Nailsworth Art Society on Van Gogh. She had a good knowledge of the subject and her material was very interesting, with a clear and enthusiastic delivery. The visuals were also very good. There have been requests for her to give another talk which is always a good sign!” Jane Bodkin, Chair of the Nailsworth Art Society

My aim is to bring artworks and the personalities who painted them to life in a really fun and engaging way. It is a real passion of mine and I’d like to share it with you.

I write about History of Art in The Artist magazine. Those features are accompanied by films, which I absolutely love presenting.

My in-person lectures, online lectures, tours and talks are available to buy in the online shop.

BOOK A HISTORY OF ART LECTURE
  • I really enjoyed your talk on Van Gogh last night. He’s one of my absolute favourites and it’s always good to pick up new details in hearing about his life and works. The projector at the Arts Centre worked a treat - the colours looked especially vibrant! Great session.' Karen H.

  • I just loved your block of lectures. You really brought each artist to life with an amazing array of slides and a fabulous angle on each of them. You made the lectures so inviting and accessible and even the experts in the group would have come away having learnt something new. Your enthusiasm and excitement about making new discoveries was positively infectious.' Polly B.

  • I loved your Art History lectures. They brought me closer to my mother, who was an artist, and have given me a greater understanding about her work.' Jane F.
