We feel a great sense of pride to see our Primavera design gracing the walls, ceilings and curtains as the hero design of The Withdrawing Room, a space designed for a transatlantic ‘collector of objets d’art’ who travels between New York and her English Country Home. Originally a room in which to withdraw in the evenings, a Georgian concept, this elegant room has been thoughtfully designed by Sean Symington, named on of Country Life’s Top 4 Under 40 designers in 2025. With subtle layering, considered artwork, antiques and contemporary pieces, it’s a modern and classic take on an English country home. The champagne flutes may be slightly chipped and the antiques have a patina that only comes with age and use, the seating is delightfully worn - it is a room that has been lived in and invites you to sit and enjoy games and aperitifs.
